Annual Matchplay Competitions
2014 Matchplay Competitions
Members can now enter the 2014 Matchplay Competitions
- Pairs Competition - £5 per
person (£10 per pair)
- Singles Competition - £5
per person
Members are asked to put the entrance fee into an envelope,
write their name(s) and competition clearly on the outside
of the envelope and place into the Match & Handicap
pigeon hole of the cabinet.
Important: Members will NOT be entered
into the draws if their club fee has not been paid by
the closing date.
Closing Date for entries is Sunday 6th April

Mid Week Competitions
The 5 Day Members Trophy 2014
The 5 Day Members Trophy will be played between Monday
31st March and Friday 12th September.
Winner - The 5 Day member with the best total points
for 2/3 of the weeks played.
There is no entrance fee.
Winner will be invited to play in the
Club Master on Saturday 27th September
Rules
- Select any day Monday – Friday
- Sign in on the computer for your selected day
- Play your round – WHITE TEES
- Sign your card by player and marker
- Enter your scores in the computer
- Put your card in the Match & Handicap box
The Over 60's Trophy 2014
The Over 60's Trophy will be played between
between Monday 31st March and Friday 12th September.
Winner - The Over 60's member with the best total points
for 2/3 of the weeks played.
There is no entrance fee.
Winner will be invited to play in the Club Master on Saturday 27th September

- Enter your scores in the computer

Sunday Competition
The Sunday Trophy 2014
The Sunday Trophy will be played between 6th April and
14th September.
Winner - The member with the best total points for
2/3 of the weeks played.
There is no additional entrance fee.
Winner will be invited to play in the Club Master on
Saturday 27th September
Rules
- Sign in on the computer
- Play your round – WHITE TEES
- Sign your card by player and marker
- Enter your scores in the computer
- Put your card in the usual slot
72 Hole Competition
72 Hole Competition
The 72 Hole Competition will run from Sunday 6th to
Sunday 13th July 2014
- Played from the White Tee Markers
- The 4 rounds can be played at any time
during the week, but only first 4 rounds played
will count.
- You can play only one round per day
- Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday competitions
will count towards the 72 Hole Competition
- 5 Day Members must write ‘5 Day’ on the score
card they wish to count towards the 5 Day Members
Trophy
- All money collected will be paid out in prize
money
- Prizes will include Best Stableford, Best Gross
and Best Nett
- Full list of prizes will be announced on Saturday

- £5 Entrance Fee - Closing date for entries
is Friday 4th July 2014
- Entrance fee to be placed into an envelope with
your name and 72 Hole Competition clearly marked
on the outside.
- Envelopes should be placed into the Match &
Handicap Slot of the Cabinet.
Winter League 2013 - 2014
Winter League
From Saturday 19th Oct 2013 until the 22nd March 2014
there is a 23 week period for our Winter Golf Season.
The Winter League will be played over two 9 holes courses
for a maximum of 20 weeks.
Entry into the competition will be £10 which includes:
1. Winter League Individual Competition including Winter
League Cup
2. Winter League Team Competition
3. Winter League Dinner
Members
are asked to put the entrance fee into the envelopes
provided, write their name clearly on the outside of
the envelope and place into the Match & Handicap slot
of the cabinet.
Closing Date for entries will be Sunday
6th October 2013. No extension will be given.
